Umm, Sub-genres...? (blub blub)

(Yo, Sarah, Daniee, put down what you'll read! -- Rachel)
Here's a vague list of the sub-genres (dunno what else to call them) of fiction each of us will read:
  • Action-adventure.......: Rachel, Danielle
  • Crime.......................: Danielle
  • Detective..................:  Danielle
  • Fantasy....................: Rachel, Danielle
  • Horror.......................: Rachel
  • Mystery....................: Danielle
  • Romance..................: Uhh, please don't request any of this, we've had bad experiences.... *shudder* -_-'
  • Science fiction..........: Rachel, Danielle
  • Western....................:  ..... -_-' Please NO cowboys
  • Inspirational...............: ? Huh (Daniee)
Notes:
Rachel can't really follow mystery or detective very well.... :/
Do NOT request anything to do with math for Daniee! ;) Heh Heh
Daniee is ok with anything really, as long as there is no mushy stuff, save that for Sarah. (Guess I'm ok with a bit of it as long as it has some action in with it.) Ditto for Rachel.
We'll read pretty much anything, so you can send it to any one of us, or just post it without specifying anyone in particular.

Numbers

A Review With Daniee

This was a great book! I was sure in the beginning this novel was NOT one I would like, thinking I would never finish it, in the end it's a 4 mushroom book for me! A book that reminded me that, while it might take a while, you need to give a book a chance...it just might turn out to be something you adore!
This book also carries with it a strong message, everyone dies, that's a fact...but it's not how you die, or the date of your death that matters –it's who you are UNTIL that day! Like the quote:

Dance like nobody's watching; love like you've never been hurt. Sing like nobody's listening; live like it's heaven on earth. ~ Mark Twain
Bottom line – the beginning is a tough ride, but I urge you to hang on...the last half makes up for it, and Jem grows on you more than you ever think she ever could! 4 stars!

Hush Hush

Review With Daniee

Hush, Hush is one of those addicting reads. There is something about it, you can't quite place your finger on it, but all you know is that you need more, right now! It's great, it starts in Nora Gray's class room -_-' really don't like what they're studying. Thats when her teacher changes the seating, Nora is put beside a transfer student, whom is named Patch. It really starts getting intense! I don't want to ruin anything for you guys so I'm not going any farther. You wanna find out? Go read it for yourself! Some say '' Hush, Hush was, without a doubt, one of the worst Twilight rip-offs I've ever had the misfortune to read. "  But please, for your sensitive little blogger, don't say that.

It's Your Call!

Yo,
Rachel here, and we (Daniee, Sarah and I) want to know, what books do you want us to read? (and review)
You might have noticed by now, but we read mostly fantasy books, but any fiction'll work! Just comment what book(s) you want any one of us to read, and we'll try to find it. You can say specifically who you want to post a review for it, or you can have us fight for it! x) Just kidding, we'll try to work it out without maiming or fatally wounding anybody! ;)
So, any fiction book, you can request a specific person, and... dang, I forgot. :( heh.  -_-"

Later,
--Rachel

Catherine is a girl who has a brother that has autisum. He lives by rules, Cathreine makes all the rules for him. one day when they were at speech for David (who is the little brother) she sees a boy in a weelchair who cant talk. She loved to draw and thats what she did. Later on in the story she starts hangin out with him. I would rate this book at like a 3 out of 5.

Mistwood

Review With Danielle

The Shifter is a being of legend. Wild, powerful, and able to take on any shape it chooses... and its purpose is to protect Samornian royalty. But for years now the Shifter has been gone, vanished into the wilds of Mistwood, and some have begun to believe it was indeed only a creature of myth.
That is, until the Samornian prince Rokan brings her back with him to the castle. Isabel has few memories of anything before the here and now, but she knows that as the Shifter it is her duty to guard Rokan from attack. But he's hiding something from her, and the more Isabel unravels of the truth, the more she begins to wonder if she should be protecting him at all.

This book is magical and keeps you wondering what's going to happen next.

Ranger's Apprentice : Battle For Skandia

Review With Daniee

Holy Bananas!

Book Four in the Ranger's Apprentice not only makes up for the lack luster book Three, it left it my fists pumping in the air! Book Three basically set up the events for book Four, in which the ranger Halt and the warrior apprentice Horace were in search of the missing princess Cassandra (Evnlyn) and the ranger apprentice Will. But enough of the pleasantries and onto the action! Book Four, or the Battle for Skandia, is non stop action. Grab it now and enjoy!

If you wanna know what happened before look for book 1 - 3 in a library or book store near you!
